Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with SkillFort Inc. ("SkillFort," "we," "us," or "our") and apply to all training programs, courses, consultations, and services offered through www.skillfort.net. By registering for or accessing any SkillFort service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in any SkillFort course, booking a consultation, or accessing any content on our platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with SkillFort Inc. under these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services. These Terms apply to all participants including individual learners, corporate clients, and group enrollees.
Enrollment Eligibility
SkillFort's training programs are designed for working professionals and are open to anyone who meets the following conditions:
- You are at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment.
- You provide accurate personal and professional information during registration.
- You understand that SkillFort provides exam preparation training only — we do not administer certification exams, which are governed by the respective certification bodies (PMI®, ISACA®, AXELOS®, DAMA®, Scrum Alliance®).
- You are responsible for verifying your own eligibility for any certification exam with the relevant certifying body prior to enrollment.
Course Access & Delivery
Upon successful enrollment and receipt of full payment, SkillFort will provide access to the enrolled program as described at the time of purchase.
- Live Training: Delivered via video conferencing (e.g., Zoom) unless otherwise stated. Session links and schedules will be communicated to registered participants via email.
- Course Materials: Study guides, practice questions, frameworks, and supplementary resources provided are for personal use only and are non-transferable.
- Access Duration: Course material access periods are specified at the time of enrollment. SkillFort reserves the right to adjust access durations with reasonable prior notice.
- Non-Transferability: Enrollment is personal and cannot be transferred to another individual without prior written consent from SkillFort.
- Recording Policy: Students may not record, screenshot, or capture any live session content without express written permission from SkillFort.
Payment & Pricing
All course fees are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Full payment is required prior to gaining access to any course materials or live sessions.
- Payments are processed securely through Squarespace's payment infrastructure using industry-standard encryption.
- SkillFort reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect enrollments already confirmed and paid.
- Any applicable taxes (e.g., HST/GST) will be calculated and added at checkout based on your jurisdiction.
- Promotional discounts and sale prices are valid only for the stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively to existing enrollments.
- In the event of a billing dispute, please contact us at info@skillfort.net within 14 days of the transaction date.
Student Code of Conduct
SkillFort is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and productive learning environment. All students are expected to uphold the following standards:
- Treat all instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and professionalism at all times.
- Participate in good faith — attend sessions prepared and engage constructively.
- Refrain from disruptive behaviour during live sessions, including offensive language, harassment, or personal attacks of any kind.
- Do not share, distribute, sell, or republish any SkillFort course materials, practice questions, or proprietary content.
- Do not share your login credentials or grant access to your account to any third party.
- Provide accurate information during enrollment and maintain honesty throughout your engagement with SkillFort.
Intellectual Property
All content produced and delivered by SkillFort — including but not limited to course slides, study guides, practice questions, frameworks, methodologies, video recordings, templates, and written materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of SkillFort Inc.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials solely for your personal exam preparation.
- You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, or share any SkillFort content in any format — digital or physical — without prior written consent.
- Unauthorised use of SkillFort's intellectual property may result in termination of access and may give rise to legal action.
- Third-party trademarks referenced in our materials (PMI®, ISACA®, AXELOS®, etc.) belong to their respective owners. SkillFort claims no ownership of these marks.
Certification Outcomes & Exam Disclaimer
SkillFort's programs are designed to maximize your readiness for certification exams. However, we make no guarantee of specific exam outcomes.
- SkillFort does not administer, endorse, or have any affiliation with PMI®, ISACA®, AXELOS®, DAMA®, or Scrum Alliance® beyond acting as an exam preparation training provider.
- Certification exam fees are entirely separate from SkillFort course fees and are your sole responsibility to pay to the respective certifying body.
- Pass rates referenced in our marketing materials represent historical averages of our student community and are not a guarantee of individual results.
- SkillFort is not responsible for any changes made by certifying bodies to exam formats, eligibility requirements, or exam content after the date of your enrollment.
- Any "pass guarantee" or promotional language relates to the quality of our instruction and preparation support — specific eligibility conditions apply and will be communicated clearly at the time of the offer.
Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
SkillFort delivers live training sessions on scheduled dates communicated to participants upon enrollment.
- Session Schedules: Training dates and times are confirmed by email upon enrollment. It is the student's responsibility to ensure availability for scheduled sessions.
- Student Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a live session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance via email at info@skillfort.net. Requests with less than 48 hours' notice may not be accommodated.
- SkillFort-Initiated Changes: In the event that SkillFort needs to reschedule a session due to instructor availability, technical issues, or insufficient registrations, we will provide at least 48 hours' notice and offer a suitable alternative date at no additional cost.
- Minimum Enrolment: SkillFort reserves the right to reschedule or consolidate sessions if minimum participant numbers are not met. Affected students will be notified promptly and offered alternative dates.
- Missed Sessions: Students who miss a live session without prior notice forfeit that session. SkillFort may, at its discretion, provide access to session notes or a makeup arrangement where feasible.
Corporate & Group Training
SkillFort offers tailored training solutions for organizations seeking to upskill teams across project management, IT governance, data management, and related disciplines.
- Corporate and group enrollments are subject to a separate written agreement or purchase order that supplements these Terms.
- Pricing, scheduling, and delivery format for corporate programs are agreed upon in writing prior to commencement of training.
- The organization enrolling on behalf of participants is responsible for ensuring that all participants are aware of and comply with these Terms.
- Any customization of course content for corporate clients requires a signed scope-of-work agreement and may incur additional fees.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
SkillFort provides training services on an "as is" basis. While we take every effort to deliver high-quality, accurate, and current content, we make no warranties beyond what is expressly stated in these Terms.
- SkillFort shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of income, career outcomes, or exam fees.
- Our maximum aggregate liability to any individual student for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by that student for the specific program in question.
- SkillFort is not responsible for technical failures on the part of third-party platforms used for delivery (e.g., Zoom, Squarespace) or for disruptions caused by factors outside our control (e.g., internet outages, force majeure events).
- Any reliance you place on information provided in our courses is at your own discretion. Industry standards and exam formats may change — always verify current requirements with the relevant certifying body.
Privacy & Data Protection
SkillFort is committed to protecting your personal information. How we collect, use, and store your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
- By enrolling in any SkillFort program, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We will not sell your personal data to third parties. Your information is used solely to deliver and improve our services.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@skillfort.net.
Social Media & Testimonials
SkillFort welcomes students to share their learning experiences on social media and professional networks.
- By submitting a testimonial, review, or success story to SkillFort — whether verbally, in writing, or via email — you grant SkillFort a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your name, role title, and feedback for marketing and promotional purposes on our website, social media channels, and course materials.
- We will always seek your permission before using your photo or full name in any public-facing marketing material.
- When engaging with SkillFort on social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), please maintain professional and respectful communication consistent with our Code of Conduct.
- SkillFort reserves the right to remove any content from its official channels that is defamatory, misleading, or in violation of any third party's rights.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
SkillFort reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
- For material changes that affect existing enrollees, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice via email.
- Your continued use of SkillFort's services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
- We recommend reviewing this page periodically, especially before enrolling in a new program.
